ISUZU D-MAX VOTED TRADE VAN DRIVER'S 'BEST WORKHORSE PICK-UP' FOR AN UNPRECEDENTED TENTH YEAR IN A ROW

Vehicle praised for drivability and value for money.

The Award-Winning Isuzu D-Max has claimed another accolade in 2022, having been awarded Trade Van Driver’s ‘Best Workhorse Pick-up’ accolade. Trade Van Driver is the only magazine which caters for the owner-driver and small fleet operator with its awards judged by both the magazine’s journalists and readers, who use pick-up trucks for their businesses. The Isuzu D-Max was praised for its value for money, strong on and off-road capabilities and 5-star safety rating and equipment levels.

Trade Van Driver Magazine said “Can any 4x4 truck beat Isuzu to this title? The judges think not, as the Isuzu D-Max wins the award for a staggering tenth time. In fact, it has won the trophy every year since the Trade Van Driver Awards started. It’s rugged and well-built yet won’t break the bank buying it. The judges felt the D-Max ticks just about every box for the cost-conscious trader.”

Alan Able, Brand Director, Isuzu UK said “We are delighted to accept this award from the experts at Trade Van Driver and add to our growing trophy cabinet in 2022. The Isuzu D-Max is currently the only pick-up in the UK with a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, thanks to its class-leading safety technology. This, along with the improved off-road ability, on-road ride quality and more SUV-like features have meant that the new generation Isuzu D-Max has been a real hit with tradespeople from all walks of life.”

The Award-Winning Isuzu D-Max range caters for every need and is available in single, extended or double cab body styles. The business range includes the Utility specification which features wipe-clean vinyl floor covering, hard-wearing cloth upholstery and automatic headlights & windscreen wipers. The DL20 specification adds items such as heated front seats, rear parking sensors and 18-inch silver alloy wheels. Moving towards the All-Purpose range, the DL40 features even more SUV-like specifications such as a keyless entry & push-button start system, dual-zone climate control, leather interior and a reversing camera, along with a 7-inch multimedia system that includes Apple CarPlay & Android Auto compatibility.

Recently Isuzu also announced an expansion to the Isuzu D-Max range with six new variants. The new versions mainly fall within the Business range, with automatic transmission now available for Utility Extended Cab, Utility Double Cab and DL20 Extended Cab vehicles, which were previously only offered with manual transmission. Whilst a rear differential lock is now available for Utility Single Cab, Utility Extended Cab and Utility Double Cab models, meaning the rear differential lock is now available across all levels of the Isuzu D-Max pick-up range.
